If you enjoyed my previous post (father and son matching t-shirts) I think you'll also like this one : matching tees for big brother and little brother. It is in fact a big brother tee and a little brother onesie.
You can find so many cute matching sets out there and though at the beginning I was tempted to get one from etsy, I decided to make it myself after all.
I put my creative mind at work and came up with this:
For the design, I was looking for something meaningful for my oldest, as my youngest has no fashion preferences at his almost 1 month.
The idea of using one of Victor's favorite books as inspiration came to me after stumbling upon the Once Upon a Thread (OUT) series (there is one going on right now) at No Big Dill.
Shopping for plain white onesies is easy : I bought a 3-onesie package at Target about a year ago, used two of them for Victor (personalized onesies) and was left with one (which I used after having shortened its sleeves). Finding plain white kids tees is a different story: I looked in every store and ended up buying some online from Hanes. I expected a better quality but they're ok.
Victor seems to enjoy the red and yellow fish on his tee and likes to point to his and then to the one on Eric's onesie.
